Well… here goes nothing…
Starting a blog feels exciting and a little terrifying at the same time, but I decided to finally take the leap. I’ve always loved routines, cooking, staying organized, and spending time with my dogs, but actually sharing that online feels way outside my comfort zone. Still, I kept feeling pulled to create something for myself, so here I am… finally starting.
I love to journal and take photos, but I realized I rarely look back on them. Creating a blog felt like a meaningful way to document what’s going on in my life… traveling, trying new recipes, learning lessons as a first-time homeowner, navigating grief, and everything in between. There are so many ideas constantly running through my head, and this felt like the right place to put them.
I’ll also be sharing items I genuinely love, along with things I’d probably skip, coming from someone who is very much a consumer herself and extremely influenced by influencers. If I’m recommending it, it’s because it actually fits into my everyday life.
Why I Decided to Start a Blog Even Though It Feels Scary…
I’ve gone back and forth on starting this blog for a long time. I worried about not being creative enough, not having enough to say, or feeling awkward sharing parts of my life online. But I also realized that waiting until I felt “ready” would probably mean never starting at all. So I decided to stop overthinking and just begin.
